PACK THE OMBAK WAY

Please refer to this page as a guideline to a better packing.

Keep in mind on the DO's & DON'Ts to ensure your parcels arrived safely at destination

As we have so often seen our customers' parcels being damaged because of their way of packing, this is to remind you, we're not responsible if your items are damaged due to your parcels not being packed properly.

!! We have the right to reject upon collecting your box/item if you're not following these guidelines !!

Use double walled box

We would strongly advise you to use double walled box for better protection of your items in the box.

Use big brown/fragile tape

Please seal the box with two to three lines of tapes and then go round the box to add extra security (as in the picture above).

Do wrap your fragile items with tissue paper and bubble wraps twice or thrice securely.

Wrap fragile items with extra care
Add extra padding

By extra padding, it could be bubble wraps, foams, scrap boxes or even clothes.

This is vital - to prevent box from being sunken and easily damaged.

Make sure your box is filled

Before you close your box, make sure your box is packed to the brim! Just add more weightless paddings as mentions in step on the left.

We so often see our customer's box being dented, sunken on top or lopsided due to not being compact and this could really damage your items in the box!

Seal the box like your life depends on it

Jokes aside, we would really advise you to seal the box properly. Again, with two to three line of tapes AND around the box so the end of the tape won't flap about and leave your box not properly sealed (we've seen this happened way too many times).

FOR FRAGILE & ODD ITEMS

FIRST STEP:

For fragile items such as glass furniture or glass cabinets, computer, monitors, TV (without box), etc - wrap the item with bubble wraps and then double wrap it with scrap boxes (on top of the bubble wrap)

For furniture, washing machine, etc - wrap your item with scrap boxes

SECOND STEP:

Wrap your item tightly with black stretch wrap

THIRD STEP:

Go around your item with a line or two of fragile tape

FOURTH STEP:

Stick on your details (refer to the bottom step).
